 In honor of international women's day this year, the Abundance foundation and Rebekah are organizing a (women's only) half-day class on renewable energy, focusing on solar electricity (photovoltaics). You should leave this class not only knowing the precise difference between power and energy, but able to spot a PV array from a moving vehicle and impress your friends with a few well chosen technical comments.  We'll talk about different types of systems, components, and tour a live energy producing system. This isn't a hands on class, so no hanging out on the roof or getting too dirty (I'm doing a hands on workshop at the end of June).
